Small Firm, Big Results
Unlike many larger firms, the Law Offices of Gedney M. Howe, III, P.A., is able to give each client intensive individual attention from the attorneys handling their case. The firm’s small size allows its team to quickly adapt to the ever-changing legal environment and effectively meet client needs. Some notable results include:
The firm represented the South Carolina State Senate in reapportionment litigation and State Representative Tim Wilkes, the only indicted legislator found not guilty in the FBI sting operation “Lost Trust.” Former South Carolina Treasurer Thomas Ravenel and former chairman of the State Development Board Dick Greer have been clients of the firm. In State v Seabrook, the firm’s client was acquitted of murder. Firm attorneys argued State v. Thrift before the SC Supreme Court on the issue of prosecutorial misconduct and was involved with U.S. v. Byers, a case surrounding the marijuana smuggling investigation known as “Jackpot.”
